Our story
From manor house of the Ripanti family to Villa Montefiore Country Resort
Origins
"Villa Montefiore" was built in the first half of the 17th century by the Ripanti family. "Palazzo Ripanti", the headquarter of this aristocratic clan, still dominates Piazza Federico II in Jesi. Our villa was their manor house and the Ripanti family spent the summer here in order to follow up the agricultural harvest. The Marquise Ripanti and the Marquis Guidi gave in dowry their manor house in occasion of their daughter’s wedding with Nicola Boncori.
The Ripanti property also included the farmers' house and in the center of the courtyard a nice small church, dedicated to the Saints Filippo Neri and Giacomo. Unfortunately the chapel was demolished around 1965. Today a small votive shrine recalls the beauty of the church which was celebrated by the bishops during their pastoral visits to Monsano.

Project
In 2004 the construction company Allegrezza Giulietti Alberto srl purchased the villa from a descendant of the Ripanti family. The project phase was characterized by piles of drawings, urban planning regulations to respect, compromises to make, but also by dreams that slowly became more and more concrete.
Renovation works
Alberto, Alessandro and Andrea carried out a careful restoration which involved all the structural and architectural parts of the villa. Foundations, floors, seismic improvement, no aspect has been overlooked. They also highlighted the characteristics of the villa and preserved its soul thanks to the use of original materials.

Final result
Today Villa Montefiore finally returns to be a splendid country resort with a perfect balance between history and comfort.
